Originally exhibited at The Themed Deck art show during Frost Jam, funded by the Mitchell Council of Arts (January 31, 2026). This paired set, King & Queen, reimagines traditional playing card iconography through a contemporary, illustrative lens, blending ornamental design with symbolic and anatomical elements. These works explore contrast - beauty and distortion, elegance and disruption - while maintaining the recognizable symmetry and hierarchy of classic card design.
