“The 4×4 Art Show”

Sardine Sunday was created for the 4×4 Show hosted by the Nevada Fine Arts Society in Las Vegas (February 4, 2026), where all works were constrained to a 4”x4” format.

The piece explores bold color, pattern, and composition within a highly limited space, using familiar imagery recontextualized through stylized detail and graphic treatment. Despite its scale, the work aims to feel complete and self-contained, balancing playful subject matter with intentional design.

The piece was exhibited and sold as part of the show.
